I’ve spent almost my entire life in the South, with the exception of a few years in Alaska, which was quite the personality shift for a girl who gets cold when I open the refrigerator door.

 

I have a husband, a teenage son, and a career path that sounds slightly made up: elementary school teacher, destination wedding photographer, real estate business owner, and now co-owner of a distillery with my husband.

 

I love the beach, the lake, mahjong, and pickleball, though my skill level in the last two is supported mostly by enthusiasm and snacks.
